Chef Thierry Marx

Thierry Marx, a Parisian chef whose name is among the most influential of his generation, is a true culinary explorer. His journey began in the workshops of the Compagnons du Tour de France, where he honed his skills before embarking on a culinary travels around the world. In 1988, he earned his first Michelin star at Roc en Val in Tours, followed by a second star at Cheval Blanc in Nîmes in 1991, and two stars at Relais & Châteaux Cordeillan-Bages in 1999.

In 2023, Thierry Marx partnered with Ricardo Silva to found ONOR, an innovative project reflecting their shared commitment to respectful and sustainable cuisine. In addition to his starred career, Thierry Marx is known to the public as a judge on the culinary shows “Top Chef” and “Master Chef.” In 2013, he was honored with the title of Chevalier of the Légion d’Honneur, and became an Officer in 2022, awards that recognize his impact and dedication.
